Case Studies what we've done...
AA Roadwatch
Tempus Technologies were tasked with the design and implementation of a web-based MIS to allow multiple AA Roadwatch operators to geo-locate and record details of current traffic, travel and event information on a national basis. This information is then distributed to the general public, radio stations, newspapers, internal and external websites, and other Roadwatch customers via multiple channels in real-time.
Tempus Technologies is also currently contracted to support and maintain the entire system on an ongoing basis. In addition, Tempus Technologies has also implemented a large number of solutions for other divisions of AA Ireland over the last 15 years, including AA Insurance and AA Membership.
Back to topBSkyB
This project involved developing a multi-user line of business application used by Sky’s outsourced call centre partners to process Sky viewing cards for all Irish Sky Retailers
Tempus Technologies was responsible for the full design, build and implementation of an extensive web based system for management of Sky viewing card orders for new customers that signed up to Sky Ireland’s subscription service through its retailer extranet.
The application allows call centre agents to process orders, send SMS / Email communications to Sky customers etc while also seamlessly updating the main Sky Retailer extranet with call outcomes etc.
An advanced record locking system was implemented ensuring that multiple call centre agents could not update the same record concurrently. Another feature of the system is to handle callbacks and follow-up communications.
Finally a suite of sales, usage and agent performance reports were developed as part of the MIS component of this application.
GloHealth
The challenge was to design, develop and implement gloHealth.ie
website for launch in Irish market together with supporting sales
agent system including frontend logic and backend integration with
quote engine.
Also to
build additional systems for brokers and corporate members as the
business grows.
Tempus Technologies was responsible for the build of dynamic
frontend website and integration between frontend website and
backend policy management & quotation engine for delivery of
quick-quote, full quote, policy creation and payment functionality.
The application was built using
leading edge web technologies and integration with the backend
policy management system was performed using XML Web Services.
Subsequent phases included building a policy admin module for sales agents, a broker system and a corporate members system for large corporate customers to manage their own health schemes.
Technologies
is contracted to maintain, extend and support these web based
systems on an annual basis.
AIB Group
AIB’s Operational Excellence Programme (OpEx) required a web-based Management Information System (MIS) to enable them to manage the OpEx Index across the entire group.
Tempus created a powerful reporting facility that is used by all business managers including the managing director to obtain up-to-date information on how branches and other business units are performing in the areas of Compliance, Operational Risk Management, and Customer Service, across multiple territories.
The user is presented with dynamic web forms depending on chosen department/unit and the scores saved directly to the SQL database from where advanced reports could be generated with graphs and links to more details etc to facilitate easy drill-down analysis.
Reports can be generated on a Monthly/Quarterly/Half-Yearly/Annual basis and can graph historic data to show emerging trends identify possible problem areas.
Back to topBNY Mellon
Tempus Technologies built a system for BNY Mellon to allow for automated import, analysis, reconciliation and reporting on large volumes of diversified fund data. The solution is servicing one of BNY Mellon Asset Servicing’s largest clients with automated fund accounting reports on a daily/monthly basis.
This system was implemented in BNY Mellon’s US Data Centers and has proven very successful in automating a previously very resource intensive task, requiring minimal ongoing support / maintenance.
The main objectives of the system were to:
- Compare the respective performance (hedged vs. non-hedged) of a reference share class
- Highlight and quantify the main root causes of the deviance
- Quantify the remaining unexplained performance gap that would potentially trigger further human investigations
The implemented solution achieved these objectives in providing a fully-automated end-to-end reconciliation system which incorporated the import of the required data from the Fund Accounting System extract, data analysis including specified calculations, exception handling and reporting.
